Palestinian medical sources reported on Wednesday evening that two Palestinians were killed by Israeli military fire near the Kissufim Crossing, south of Gaza City.
The two residents, fighters of the Al Aqsa Martyres Brigades the armed wing of Fateh movement, were killed after soldiers fired tanks shells at them after exchanging fire with the soldiers.
Palestinian security sources reported that the Israeli authorities informed them that the bodies of the two fighters are located near the Kissufim crossing.
Abu Mohammad, the spokesperson of the brigades, reported that the two fighters are residents of the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli military source reported that soldiers spotted the two men while they were attempting to infiltrate into Israel.
The source added that the two carried rifles with them and that they were killed after the Israeli aircraft fired at them.
