Israeli army and police forces attacked on Saturday afternoon a nonviolent protest in Dahiat Al Baraed area, in Jerusalem.
Troops fired tier gas cannisters and rubber coated bullets at the protestors, which caused several injures among them.
Cheif Muslim Cleric Sheikh Taiseer Tamimmi, Palestine Chief Justice, was among the injured, local sources reported.
The protest was organized to commemorate the fiftyeighth anniversary of the Palestinian catastrophe (Nakba), the sources added.
