On Thursday, Israeli soldiers invaded the area of the Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, in Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, causing dozens of injuries.
Media sources said the soldiers surrounded the university and started firing gas bombs and live rounds at Palestinians who protested the invasion, and surrounding buildings, including the campus of the education facility.
They added that dozens of students and staffers suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation and that the soldiers obstructed the arrival of Palestinian medics by surrounding and closing the area.
Medical sources at Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem said the soldiers shot two students with live rounds and two with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Marda village, north of the central West Bank city of Salfit, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades, in addition to installing a roadblock at the eastern entrance of the village, before stopping and searching dozens of cars and interrogating the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
