On Friday dawn, Israeli navy ships and the army attacked several Palestinian fishing boats in the northern, central parts, and southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the navy fired many live rounds and gas bombs at Palestinian fishing boats in the Al-Waha and As-Sudaniyya area, near the shore of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
They added that Israeli soldiers stationed across the perimeter fence fired many live rounds and gas bombs at Palestinian shepherds on grazing lands east of the Al-Maghazi and the Al-Boreij refugee camps in central Gaza.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region, Israeli soldiers across the perimeter fence fired gas bombs at Palestinian farmers east of Abasan Al-Jadida town, forcing them to leave their lands.
On Monday evening, Israeli navy ships attacked Palestinian fishing boats with live fire and gas bombs near the shores of the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
On Monday dawn, the Israeli army fired many missiles and shells, targeting several areas in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, and alleged it was “retaliating to a shell fired from Gaza.”
The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
In March of 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
