On Thursday night, paramilitary illegal Israeli colonizers shot and seriously injured two young Palestinian men in Qusra village, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Local nonviolent activist against Israel’s illegal colonialist activities, Fuad Hasan, told the WAFA Palestinian News Agency that the colonizers came from the Esh Kodesh illegal colony on stolen Palestinian lands and invaded the southern area of the town.
He said the colonizers were driving four-wheeler motorcycles before attacking several Palestinian homes.
He added that the Palestinians tried to defend their homes and gathered in the area to remove the colonizers before one of them fired several live rounds from his automatic rifle, wounding Mas’ud Abu Reeda with a live round in the abdomen before the bullet exited through his back and Mohammad Khaled Hasam who was shot in the thigh.
The two received first aid at a local clinic before being rushed to Rafidia hospital in Nablus; both conditions were described as serious.
In related news, Israeli military bulldozers placed sand barriers at the entrance of three Palestinian streets in Huuwara town, south of Nablus.
Many paramilitary colonizers also gathered at nearby intersections and prevented the Palestinians from crossing.
