On Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted a young Palestinian woman in a bus heading to Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, and continued the closure and restrictions on entry to the historic city.
Media sources said the soldiers stopped and searched a bus at the northern entrance of Hebron city and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
They added that the soldiers abducted a young woman from the bus and took her to an unknown destination.
The army also continued the closure and restrictions on the entry and departure from Jericho.
Journalist Emad Abu Simbel said the army closed the main and even dirt roads and streets, causing extended traffic jams.
He added that the areas completely closed by the army are Jericho’s northern, northwestern, and southern entrances and other minor streets near Wadi Al-Qelt and Al-Mazare’.
