On Sunday, thousands of Palestinians participated in the funeral ceremony of a young man whom Israeli soldiers killed on February 9th, near Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, after the army held his corpse for three months.
The Palestinians marched in front of the family home of Sharif Hasan Rabba (Wreidat), 22, in the Al-Thaheriyya town, south of Hebron, before heading to a local mosque for the funeral ceremony.
The Palestinians then carried his corpse to the local graveyard in the town, where they laid Sharif to rest.
Sharif Rabba (Wriedat) was killed by Israeli soldiers near the entrance of the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, after the army claimed that the young man attempted to stab a soldier.
It is worth mentioning that Israel still refuses to transfer the corpses of 370 Palestinians in morgues and the “Numbers Graveyard,” including eleven who died in Israeli prisons, detention camps, and interrogation facilities.
