A paramilitary Israeli colonist shot and injured, on Friday, a Palestinian young man who confronted a settler incursion into an area east of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.
A Palestinian young man was shot, on Friday morning, when illegal Israeli settlers invaded the Shaqara area near Silwad town, east of Ramallah.
While Palestinians attempted to fend off the settler attack, an armed colonist shot one young man with a live round in the side.
The injured youth was transported to the emergency center in Silwad town, there was no report on his condition at the time of this report.
It was added that Israeli soldiers arrived shortly after the incident to secure the safety of the illegal settlers, instead of arresting the perpetrator of the shooting.
