On Saturday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked many Palestinians in Hebron City and Masfaer Yatta, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the colonizers invaded the neighborhoods in Wad Al-Haseen, Jaber Neighborhood, and the Shuhadaq Steet, in the center of Hebron, hurled stones, pepper-sprayed many Palestinians, and unleashed their dogs on them.
Their sources added that several Palestinians were injured, including some who fainted due to the attacks.
The soldiers also attacked Mohamamd Ahmad Shawahin while grazing his sheep in the Al-Adra area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, causing contusions and bruises.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
