Israeli forces attacked, late Wednesday night, Palestinian civilians who gathered along the eastern border of the besieged Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
Media sources said that Palestinian youths gathered in the “Malka” area, east of Gaza City in the northern part of the Gaza Strip to protest the storming of Jerusalem by illegal Israeli settlers.
Palestinian youths burned tires while occupation forces opened fire with tear gas canisters at those who demonstrated. No injuries were reported among the youths.
On Wednesday, dozens of illegal Israeli colonizers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, performed Talmudic rituals, and chanted hateful anti-Arab sentiments.
The settlers were joined by the Israeli far-right Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, for what the settlers called the “anniversary of the destruction of the Temple.”
