Israeli forces abducted, on Friday, five Palestinian civilians, including former prisoners, and injured a number of others during confrontations in the Jerusalem and Hebron governorates, in the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.
Media sources said that Israeli forces invaded Bidu town, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, which sparked protests among the local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers responded to protests by firing tear gas canisters, causing several people to sustain inhalation injuries.
Occupation forces invaded the homes of two former prisoners, Musa Zahran and Ahmed Abu Eid, before abducting them.
Meanwhile, the army stormed, at dawn Friday, Al-Eizariya town, east of Jerusalem, and abducted Mahmoud Daraghmeh.
Furthermore, in the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli troops stormed, on Friday, separate areas of the Hebron governorate, and abducted two Palestinian citizens.
North of Hebron, soldiers invaded the Al-Aroub refugee camp, northeast of the city, and broke into the home of Adam Hisham Tafesh, before abducting him.
The army stormed Al-Samou town, south of Hebron, and abducted Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Asis, 37.
