Illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted and injured, on Saturday evening, three Palestinian citizens near the town of Tuqu’, southeast of the southern occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.
According to Taysir Abu Mufarreh, the mayor of the town, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers set up a roadblock near the town, and blocked Palestinians from entering their lands.
He added that when the Palestinians approached the roadblock, the colonizers assaulted and pepper-sprayed them, causing three Palestinians to sustain burns and inhalation injuries as a result of pepper spray.
Earlier Saturday, another group of illegal settlers erected Israeli flags on Palestinian lands in Artas village, southwest of Bethlehem.
According to Hasan Breijiyya, the head of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, a group of illegal Israeli settlers raised the flag of the occupation on Palestinian-owned lands in the “Jabal Bako” area, near the illegal “Efrat” colony.
