Updated: Israeli soldiers abducted, overnight until early morning hours Thursday, at least 87 Palestinians, among them eighteen, including one woman, from one village near Ramallah, and shot a young man, and abducted fourteen from Bethlehem, in addition to abducting several women from occupied Jerusalem and other parts of the occupied territory; many of the abducted Palestinians, including women, are former political prisoners.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted Nidal Mahmoud Khalawi, 42, and Anas Adel Ramadan, 36, from Deheishe refugee camp, and Ramzi Na’im Amira, 47, from Husan village, Amir Bassam Dawwa, 28, from the Aida refugee camp, Taha Mousa Sheikh, 63, from Marah Rabah, Mohammad Ahmad Sa’ad, 43, from Beit Iskariya, Abdullah Mohammad Obeyyat from Hindaza, Bahaudin Shakarna, 20, from Nahhalin, Mousa Ahmad Al-‘Orouj, 26, Shaher HasanAl-‘Orouj, 21, from Al-‘Orouj village, Mahmoud Nasser Badawna, 24, from Doha, Mohammad Luay Tthawabta, 20, and his brother Ahmad, 18.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers abducted Mariam Salhab, Lama Khater, from the city, Roqayya Amro from Doura, Ahmad Hmediat from Surif, Laith Halayqa from Shiokh, Omar Zohour from Beit Kahil, Mustafa Abu Shamia, Abdul-Jalil Mustafa Abu Shamia, Hussein Mustafa Abu Shamia, from the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, Sa’id Asafra and Emad Asafra from Beit Kahil, and Obeida ‘Aadi from Beit Ummar.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted former political prisoner Baha’ Ya’ish, in addition to Ahmad Darwish and Ayman Darwish, from their homes in the city, Ahmad Abdullah Hamadna, Ali Omar Shouli, Bara’ Jarar’a and Abdullah Abdul-Salam Sawalha, from their homes in Asira ash-Shamaliya.
In Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank’s central part, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Naim Arouri from Aroura village, west of the city, while crossing a military roadblock.
The soldiers also invaded Kobar town, northwest of Ramallah, searched and ransacked many homes before abducting seventeen Palestinians, including a woman.
The abducted Palestinians are Soheir Barghouthi, Emad Khaldoun Barghouthi, Wajd Barghouthi, Omar Mohammad Barghouthi, Aktham Barghouthi, Mohammad Maher Barghouthi in addition to former political prisoners Qassam Majd Barghouthi, Zahi Ismael Barghouthi, Yousef Sarhan Barghouthi, Jawdat Sarhan Barghouthi, Lutfi Ismael Barghouthi, Saher Ismael Barghouthi, Abbas Ibrahim Barghouthi, Sohaib Saher Barghouthi, Mo’taz Saher Barghouthi, Abbas Ibrahim Barghouthi, and Assem Nabil Al-Abed.
In the Al-Mughayer village, east of Ramallah, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Atef Abu Alia, Ahmad Abdul-Fattah Abu Naim, and Odah Abu Amer Abu Alia after invading their homes and ransacking them.
In the Al-Biereh city near Ramallah, the soldiers searched and ransacked several homes before abducting Rushdi Daraghma, Mohammad Daraghma, Yahia Jamal Tawil, and former political prisoner Abdullah Mutawalli.
Furthermore, the soldiers shot one Palestinian in the leg during protests after the army invaded the Ramallah-Jerusalem Street area near the Al-Am’ari refugee camp.
In occupied Jerusalem, the army invaded the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and abducted a young woman, Alisar Abu Hasna, from her home for posting solidarity statements with Gaza on her social media accounts.
In Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Khalil Mansour, Majdi Mansour, Mohammad Abdul-Razeq, Hashem Hmeidan, Mashour Mansour, Nidal Mashour Mansour, Jamil Mashour Mansour, Yahia Ayesh, Abed Yahia Ayesh, Tamer Yahia Ayesh, Khaled Yahia Ayesh and Ayyoub Khdour.
In Sanur village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, the soldiers abducted four Palestinians, including one woman, identified as Karim Wael Najjar, the wife of Bilal Thiab, and her father Shahir Walad Ali, and Tareq Mohammad Jarrar.
The army also invaded and ransacked homes in Fahma, Jalboun, Zabbouba and Faqqu’a near Jenin.
Late Wednesday night, the army abducted a former political prisoner, Mohammad Mahmoud Alawna, from Qabatia town, south of Jenin, while crossing a military roadblock.
The soldiers also abducted three former political prisoners, Awni Adnan Kamil, Faisal Ibrahim Saba’na, and Ali Abdullah Abu Ar-Rob, from Qabatia after summoning them for interrogation at the Salem military base.
