On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Far’a refugee camp south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part, searched, and ransacked many homes, abducted one Palestinian, and shot two during ensuing protests.
Media sources said dozens of soldiers invaded the refugee camp before storming and ransacking many homes, causing excessive damage.
They added that the soldiers interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards in their homes and abducted a young man, Samir Raja Ahmad Khatib.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and the ransacking of homes before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot a young man in the arm and another Palestinian in the leg before the local medics rushed the two to Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital.
The Palestinian Education Directorate in Tubas said it suspended the school day and decided to hold the classes online to protect the students amidst the dangerously increasing Israeli military escalation.
