Israeli forces shot, on Friday, four Palestinian young men and injured others in occupied Jerusalem and shot one in the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.

On Thursday afternoon, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, besieged a mosque, and injured dozens of Palestinians.

The army surrounded the mosque and opened fire towards Muslim worshipers with live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, shooting four young men and causing dozens to sustain inhalation injuries.


Medical sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that two young men were shot in the foot with live rounds, one sustained a shrapnel (bullet fragments) wound to his chest, and another young man was struck in the eye with shrapnel. They added that dozens of citizens suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

    Hebron

In the predawn hours of Friday the army invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, sparking protests from local Palestinian youths.



Soldiers responded by firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, Palestinian young man twice with live rounds.

Media sources said the young man was shot in his abdomen and his foot. When ambulance crews attempted to transport the young man to hospital, soldiers obstructed their passage.
