On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded the center of Ramallah city, in the occupied West Bank’s central part, killed a young man and injured fourteen.
Several army vehicles invaded the Al-Manara area in the center of Ramallah, leading to protests, and fired a barrage of live rounds, in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Medical sources at Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah said the soldiers killed Hazem Abdul-Fattah Qattawi, 23, after shooting him with live fire.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers also shot fourteen Palestinians with live fire, including one who was shot in the chest and one in the abdomen, in addition to several residents who were shot in the legs, and two in the thighs; one of the wounded is a journalist.
The Israeli army invaded several areas in Ramallah, especially Al-Manara and the As-Sa’a (The Clock) areas, and Shirin Abu Akleh Junction, Al-Hisba Street, Al-Baloa’ and At-Tira, before breaking into several money exchange shops where they confiscated about 10,000,000 Shekels.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked a home for the Al-Ajjouli family in Al-Baloa’ and their money exchange shop in Ramallah.
In addition, the soldiers invaded an apartment building and interrogated many Palestinians in their homes, in addition to firing live rounds at a car and wounding its driver.
Furthermore, the army invaded Betunia town, west of Ramallah, and all neighborhoods near the Ofer military prison, building on stolen Palestinian lands.
Many military vehicles also invaded Al-Biereh City, Sinjil town, Beit Liqya town, and Turmus Ayya, where they abducted Yousef Najeh Mohammad Daifallah, 19, Osama ‘Aabed, Mohammad Salim, and Mashhour Al-Kook.
Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed 312 Palestinians, including children, in the West Bank since October 7 and 520 since the beginning of the year 2023.
In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has killed at least 21,110 Palestinians and injured more than 55,243, mostly women and children, in addition to the thousands who remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings.
Among the slain Palestinians are 101 journalists and 226 medical workers, including doctors and nurses, in addition to 225 injured healthcare workers and medics.
The Israeli war on the Palestinians in Gaza displaced 1,920,000 Palestinians, destroyed 65,600 homes, and partially damaged 177,2000, in addition to damaging 183 mosques and three children.
Israel’s missiles also destroyed 1,541 industrial facilities and 305 schools, in addition to damaging and destroying 165 media facilities.
