On Tuesday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked and injured two Palestinian shepherds in Kafr Ed-Deek town, west of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank’s central part.
Media sources said a group of paramilitary colonizers invaded grazing lands in the western part of the town and assaulted the two shepherds.
They added that the shepherds suffered various cuts and bruises before the local rushed to help them and the assailant fled the scene.
The area is subject to frequent invasions and violations by both the colonizers and the Israeli soldiers.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded the eastern areas of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, shot a young man, and abducted another.
It is worth mentioning that the army abducted at least twenty Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
