On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers fatally shot a young Palestinian woman on the bypass road #60, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media sources said the soldiers fired several live rounds from point-blank range at the woman and left her bleeding on the ground until she succumbed to her wounds.

The slain young woman has been identified as Maymouna Abdul-Hamid Harahsha, 20, from Hebron.

An eyewitness said he saw the soldiers point their rifles at the woman, who remained standing still, before firing many live rounds.

He stated that the woman did not make any sudden move or attempt to run towards the soldiers or away from them before they shot her.

“I was in a car across the street when I saw the soldiers pointing their guns at her,” the eyewitness stated, “She didn’t move at all, remained standing still, yet they shot and killed her.”

The Israeli army claimed the young woman “carried a knife,” and “intended to stab the soldiers.”

On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least fifteen Palestinians, including former political prisoners, from several parts of the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot three Palestinians with live fire, and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Also Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Kafr Al-Lubbad and Anabta Palestinian towns, east of Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part, and closed streets, leading to protests.

On Tuesday before dawn, Israeli troops shot and killed a 44-year-old Palestinian father of three identified as Shadi Issa Jalaita, according to the director of Jericho Governmental Hospital.

According to the Wafa Palestinian news agency, Shadi is the brother of the prisoner Fadi Jalaita, 46, who has been imprisoned by Israeli authorities for 24 years. He was sentenced to 25 years, and is scheduled to be released next year. He also lost his father while in prison.

On Wednesday, Day 201 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in the destroyed Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more, in various parts of the coastal region.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 32 Palestinians and wounding 59, mostly women and children, in less than 24 hours.

The Health Ministry added that Israel has now killed at least 34.183 Palestinians, including at least 14.000 children, and injured more than 77.143, mostly women and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.

EuroMed Human Rights Monitor has reported that the total number of slain Palestinians (October 7, 2023 – April 23, 2024) is 42.510, including 15.780 children and 10.091 women, and 137 journalists.

Also among the slain Palestinians are 356 healthcare professionals, 549 injured, 42 slain civil defense workers and 161 injured, while Israel’s missiles and shells also damaged 29 hospitals, 72 clinics, and 221 ambulances. The Israeli missiles also destroyed 203 heritage sites.

It added that Israel has displaced 2.000.000 Palestinians of Gaza’s 2.2 million Palestinians, destroyed 131.200 homes, damaged 281.000 homes, destroyed and damage 178 press centers, damaged 445 schools, destroyed 2.271 industrial facilities, in addition to damaging 651 mosque and 3 churches.
