At midnight on Saturday, Israeli forces bombed a Palestinian-owned home in the town of Deir Al-Ghusoun, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that Israeli special forces besieged a house in the eastern neighborhood, before military reinforcements arrived.

Local armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged heavy fire with the invading army.

The army demanded through loudspeakers that the young men inside the home surrender themselves, before firing at least one “Energa” missile at the home.

Coinciding with the continued siege on a home in Deir Al-Ghusoun, several military vehicles, including a D-9 military bulldozer, stormed the city of Tulkarem from its western entrance.

Media sources said that a large army force passed through the city heading towards the Shweika suburb, northeast of the city, where local Palestinians protested the incursion.

Soldiers opened fire at the “Al-Ja’roun” roundabout, near the suburb of Shweika, at those who protested the army presence; no injuries were reported.

It was added that the vehicles passed through the village of Al-Jarushiya, on the way to the town of Deir al-Ghusoun.

According to eyewitness accounts, a military bulldozer destroyed several citizen’s vehicle and fences in the town and caused a power outage in the area of the besieged home.

This is an ongoing situation, any further information will be provided as it becomes available.
