Israeli forces, on Wednesday, abducted six Palestinians, including a child, and injured others in various regions of the occupied West Bank.
On Wednesday afternoon, Israeli forces assaulted a Palestinian child before abducting him in the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
Media sources said that soldiers invaded the town, deployed in the center of the Old City, and forced shop owners to close their shops.
Soldiers chased students, fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at them, and abducted the child, Louay Joudeh Sobeih, 16, after brutally assaulting him.
Meanwhile, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinian young men in the Ramallah governorate.
Media sources said that the army abducted two farmers, Ziad Mustafa Hamayel, 42, and Bakri Mahmoud Bairat, 43, while they were near the town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah.
In the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, north of the city, occupation forces abducted a student at Al-Quds University, Baraa Rummaneh, while he was at his workplace.
Later, Israeli soldiers abducted a citizen of Tammoun town, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, soldiers abducted Hudhayfah Khalil Bisharat, 35, when he passed through a flying military roadblock between Ramallah and Tubas.
On Wednesday evening, the army abducted Ahmed Rabhi Mahmoud Al-Harimi, 33, when he passed through a flying military roadblock east of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
Furthermore, several military vehicles invaded the southern West Bank city of Hebron, while soldiers were deployed in the streets and near citizens’ commercial shops; no injuries were reported.
Southeast of Bethlehem, soldiers invaded the town of Tuqu’ and fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades in the vicinity of the city hall; no injuries were reported.
Moreover, on Wednesday night, Israeli forces fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at Palestinians in the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, without causing any injuries.
Later, the army stormed the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and launched a search campaign.
According to Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, the head of the Jalboun village council, occupation forces invaded the village, stormed the male secondary school and removed its gate, while local Palestinians protested the incursion.
Soldiers fire live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at the school and towards citizens, causing several of them to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
