On Sunday morning, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured a teenage boy, in Balata refugee camp, north of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers killed Samer Nasser Rommana, 27, after shooting him in the head.
The Health Ministry added that the soldiers also shot a teenage boy, 16, with a live round in the back, causing moderate wounds.
Media sources said several armored military vehicles, including bulldozers, the eastern area of Nablus, through Al-Quds Street, before invading the Balata refugee camp.
The sources added that many Palestinians protested the invasion before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Israel has now killed 498 Palestinians, including 124 children and 20 who were killed by paramilitary Israeli colonizers, in several parts of the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023.
