Israeli soldiers stationed at Tayasser military checkpoint east of Tubass city in the northern part of the West Bank attacked a Palestinian civilian on Monday midday.
Eyewitnesses stated that soldiers stopped the Palestinian man, took his ID and forced him to stand for some time. Soldiers then attacked the man with their rifle buts and batons for no reason.
Residents stated that soldiers at this checkpoint have been detaining Palestinian civilians and cars since the morning, and are refusing to let them pass to the Jordan valley area in the northern part of the West Bank.
