Palestinian sources reported that Israeli army troops attacked Palestinian civilian cars and confiscated keys at the southern entrance of Jenin city, in the northern part of the West Bank on Tuesday midday.
Residents reported that soldiers stationed at Israeli army checkpoints at the southern entrance of the city closed them and have been detaining civilians and their cars sine the morning. When some residents of Jenin attempted to travel on a nearby farm road to get out of the city, soldiers chased them and confiscated their car keys.
So far, scores of cars have been detained on the afforementioned farm road, eyewitnesses reported.
