Israeli forces abducted two Palestinians at the Karama border crossing, east of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, and invaded several areas in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.
On Monday night, occupation forces abducted a young man from the Jenin governorate while he was passing through the Karama border crossing, east of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers abducted the young man, Amjad Khaled Abu Al-Rub, a citizen of the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, when he passed through the Karama border crossing.
Meanwhile, the army invaded several areas of the Jenin governorate on Monday night, including the towns and villages of Arraba, Kafr Ra’i, Fahma, and Faqqu’a, and conducted a large-scale search operation.
Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted a citizen from the Tubas governorate, on Sunday, when he passed through the Karama border crossing.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, soldiers abducted Shadi Falah Bisharat, 35, when he passed through the Karama border crossing.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, at least sixteen Palestinian citizens were abducted by occupation forces on Monday.
The statement added that the total number of abductions since October 7, 2023 has reached more than 9,465, including those who were abducted from their homes, through military roadblocks, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian citizens, while occupation forces shot two, including a child, and abducted three, in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.
