Day 285: Israeli Missiles Kill Dozens In Gaza
In addition, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of homes, schools, and centers where families sheltered, in central Gaza.
The Palestinian Civil Defense said its medics located the corpses of many slain Palestinians and evacuated many injured residents after the army bombarded a building for the Al-Isawi family where many families sheltered near the Ihsan Mosque in Nusseirat.
It added that, just a few hours earlier, the medics located the corpses of five Palestinians, and evacuated many injured, after the army fired a missile at a home for the Abu Hamda family.
At least seven Palestinians were killed, and many were injured, when the army fired a missile at a home for the Diab family in Zawaida, in central Gaza.
Also, the army fired a missile at Abdullah Azzam Mosque, west of Nusseirat, killing two Palestinians and wounding many.
It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday, the army bombarded the ar-Razi school, where many families sheltered in Nusseirat, killing 23 Palestinians and wounding more than 70.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired a missile at a car in the Al-Mawasi area, in the western part of the city, killing 17 Palestinians and wounding 26, in the area.

An almost daily occurrence.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed two massacres of families in several parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians; among them 49 slain residents and 69 injured, including many children and women, who were moved to medical centers, while the search continues under the rubble.

In a post on X, UNRWA stated that nearly 70% of its schools in Gaza have been hit since the war began (October 7, 2023,)” and added that “Over 95% of these schools were used as shelters when hit. 539 people sheltering in UNRWA facilities have been killed. Nowhere is safe. The blatant disregard for @UN premises and humanitarian law must stop.”

The United Nations stated that Israel continues to prevent the entry of urgently needed fuel to humanitarian aid workers, an issue that is hindering the distribution of food supplies in the Gaza Strip.
“The Israeli authorities still do not allow the provision of necessary fuel to humanitarian relief workers, and therefore food distribution is hampered,” the UN stated.
Stéphane Dujarric, the UN spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, stated that dozens of civilians were killed and others wounded in the recent Israeli attacks in several parts of the Gaza Strip.
Dujarric added that “one of the attacks occurred 100 meters from the center where humanitarian aid operations are conducted in Deir al-Balah.”
Israel just killed 7 Palestinian civilians from the same family.

He also said that, despite the Israeli attacks, humanitarian aid operations are ongoing, but added that these attacks “make it more difficult to put people who are already working under great pressure.”
On Tuesday, Doctors Without Borders said that “following strikes, today MSF teams responded yet again to mass casualty influxes at the MSF clinic & Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, and at Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir El Balah. This comes just days after Nasser Hospital received hundreds injured and killed.”
It stated on X social media platform, “Since the beginning of July, our teams have responded to four mass casualty incidents. With each attack, medical staff in Gaza are put under unbearable pressure in a health system that is already stretched to its limits.”
Doctors Without Borders quoted its medical team leader Dr Javid Abdelmoneim stating “Medical staff try their best to save lives in already overwhelmed hospitals that lack even the most basic supplies. But more people will die each second the fighting continues, and supplies are delayed & blocked from entering Gaza.”
It is worth noting that, out of 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, only 13 are still operational, although partially, lacking basic supplies, while three out of eleven field hospitals in the Gaza Strip had to temporarily close, and four are partially operational.
Israel has now killed at least 38.713, including more than 16.122 children and 10.645 women, and injured more than 89.166, in addition to the thousands (at least 10.000) of missing Palestinians (among them at least 4.700 children and women), largely under the rubble, on destroyed streets and bombarded alleys, across the destroyed Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
