Israeli police injured, on Friday, a foreign national, assaulted others, and abducted a Palestinian young man near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said that occupation forces attacked worshipers on their way to perform Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, injuring a young man holding a foreign nationality.

Media sources said that occupation police beat worshipers with batons, injuring a young man in the head while he was near Bab al-Asbat (Lion’s Gate), one of the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Sources added that the police attacked press crews and obstructed their work, in addition to setting up checkpoints.

Israeli police stopped worshipers, checked their identities, searched them, and denied entry for several people trying to pray at the mosque.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center (Silwanic) reported that occupation police abducted a former prisoner identified as Subaih Abu Subaih, while he was leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
