Earlier on Thursday, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews managed to transfer the slain child, Majed Fida’ Abu Zeina, 16 years old, to a hospital after the army initially stopped them and prevented them from reaching him.
The soldiers fired several bullets at the child during their invasion of the refugee camp, assaulted him, and then dragged him out of the refugee camp using a military bulldozer, before allowing PRCS to retrieve his corpse.
Earlier Thursday dawn, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a Palestinian car in Tubas, killing six young men and seriously wounding one.
Since last Wednesday, August 28, the Israeli army launched a wide-scale offensive on the West Bank, especially the northern parts, killing 40 citizens, including 21 from Jenin Governorate, 8 from Tulkarem, 8 from Tubas, and 3 from Hebron, raising the total number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, to 700.
