Human right organizations told IMEMC that Palestinian prisoners detained in Jalbo’e Israeli detention camp located in northern Israeli announced a stated of high alert on Monday morning.
The high alert was announced after Israeli army special forces attacked the Palestinian detainees using tier gas sound bombs and live rounds, sources from the jail stated that troops are also attacking the prisoners while the later in their rooms.
So far no injuries have been reported.
Jalbo’e detention camp has 600 Palestinian prisoners in it, all are detained for political reasons as the Israeli army calms, most of those prisoners are their since year without any charges. Currently there are around 11000 political Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli detention camps the majority is being held there without any charges.
On Sunday Israeli troops manning the detention camp attacked the Palestinian prisoners and their families during visit hours, soldiers used tier gas and batons to attack the prisoners, the sources reported.
