Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that two Palestinians had died from wounds sustained during earlier internal clashes between Fateh and Hamas gunmen in the Gaza Strip..Resident Sami Abed-Rabbo Abu Holy died on Sunday of wounds sustained during armed clashes between Fateh and Hamas gunmen near the Ministries Compound.
Abed-Rabbo, a resident of the Central Gaza Strip, was wounded on May 17, 2007.
Dr. Muawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, stated on Monday that Abed Rabbu was seriously injured and transferred to an Israeli hospital where he died from his injuries.
Dr. Hassanen added that that coordination with the Israeli authorities to return the dead man’s body to the Gaza Strip is ongoing.
Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip also reported on Monday that resident Moneer Taneera had died of wounds sustained in similar circumstances.
Taneera, a member of the Hamas-formed Executive Force, was shot by Fateh gunmen in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
