Ten Palestinians were killed and thirty others injured due to Israeli artillery shelling of Jabalia Elementary School, which shelters displaced families in Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza Strip.
Medical teams retrieved ten bodies and several injured individuals from the site of the Israeli artillery shelling on Jabalia Preparatory School in the upper school area, which serves as a UNRWA shelter for displaced people in Jabalia refugee camp.

Israeli forces are still besieging tens of thousands of Palestinians in their homes in the northern areas, preventing the delivery of food, water, and medicine to those trapped in these areas for the past 17 days.
Talking to Al-Jazeera, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, Husam Abu Safiya, said the medical center has run out of resources, adding that the hospital’s blood units have completely run out, blood units and medical supplies are no longer available, “even shrouds for the dead are no longer available.”
Abu Safiya added that many wounded Palestinians have died due to the lack of basic medical supplies and that many wounded Palestinians remain lying in the streets as there is no way to retrieve them due to the siege and the ongoing bombing.
“We urgently call for a humanitarian corridor to deliver food to the staff who are currently without provisions. Our medical teams are working tirelessly without rest due to the continuous shelling around the hospital,” Abu Safiyya stated. “There is an ongoing genocide targeting the healthcare system in northern Gaza. We are in contact with relevant international institutions, but unfortunately, they are completely absent.

Medical sources in Gaza stated that at least 57 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, forty-four of whom were in the northern part of the coastal enclave.
On its part, UNRWA stated that every minute is crucial, and the delay in allowing access to northern Gaza prevents rescue teams from reaching the injured.
In a post on X, UNRWA stressed the critical need for immediate access to northern Gaza for essential medical supplies and stated that with no operational medical points, UNRWA teams are prepared but urgently require supplies to deliver care. ICU patients have died following power cuts due to strikes on hospitals, while Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals struggle to function at minimal capacity due to severe shortages.
