The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, Friday evening, the death of two children in the intensive care unit at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, after the hospital generators stopped and the oxygen station was destroyed by Israeli shells.
In its statement, the Ministry of Health said that the current situation inside Kamal Adwan Hospital is worsening alarmingly.
It indicated that the total number of people inside the hospital is 600, including patients, the injured, medical staff, and companions.

The number of patients and the injured is 195, while the number of medical staff is 70. Three nurses and a sanitary worker were injured in Israeli attacks in the hospital.
The Ministry pointed out that three ambulances and a transport vehicle were destroyed, hindering relief and transport operations, and added that the solar panel electricity generation system was also destroyed, exacerbating the crisis.
It confirmed that the invading soldiers are searching and ransacking the hospital and firing inside various departments, increasing panic and anxiety.
The Ministry also stated that these conditions require urgent intervention from humanitarian organizations to ensure everyone’s safety and provide necessary needs.
It is worth mentioning that the army invaded Kamal Adwan Hospital at dawn Friday, after hours of besieging and bombing it, rendering it out of service, amid a systematic extermination process that the northern Gaza Strip has been subjected to for more than 20 days.
The invaded soldiers abducted most of the young people present in Kamal Adwan Hospital, interrogated and tortured them. Later, some were released while the fate of the rest remains unknown.
