On Sunday, Israeli soldiers invaded Palestinian lands south of Qusra village, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, and fired at Palestinians while they were picking their olive trees.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers invaded the orchards before firing at the Palestinian families to force them to leave.

They added that the attacked lands are near the main street linking Qusra and Jalud, south of Nablus.

The lands in the area are subject to repeated violations by the soldiers and the paramilitary Israeli colonizers, who escalate the attacks during the olive harvest season.

The severe Israeli restrictions imposed on the West Bank, and the escalating violations, could deprive the Palestinians of access to 80,000 dunams of olive orchards this harvest season.

In related news, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian students heading to their schools and colleges, near Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
