On Wednesday afternoon, an Israeli colonizer killed a Palestinian man after an alleged car-ramming attempt near the illegal “Shilo” colony, built on citizens’ lands northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Health Ministry that the young man, Harith Khaled Abdullah Jabara, 32, succumbed to critical gunshot wounds during an alleged car-ramming attempt.
The Health Ministry announced that occupation forces shot Jabara after his vehicle crashed at the entrance to the “Shilo” settlement, near the town of Turmus Ayya, injuring two Israeli colonizers.
The slain young man was a resident of the village of Deir al-Ghusun, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Israeli media reported that two Israeli settlers sustained minor injuries, while an armed colonizer shot and killed the suspect after he exited his vehicle.
The army claimed that the young man, who was armed with a knife, was shot and killed by an Israeli “civilian” after getting out of his vehicle, after colliding with a bus stop at the Shiloh Junction.
The Times of Israel reported that the Binyamin Regional Council, a “local resident” shot and killed the Palestinian suspect.
The Shireen Observatory confirmed that the army confiscated the body of the slain young man, who was a resident of the village of Deir al-Ghusun, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
In related news, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man with live rounds, at dawn Wednesday, after storming the village of Abu Shkheidem, northwest of Ramallah.
Media sources said that occupation forces shot the young man, Yousef Thaer Qandah, in the leg with live ammunition during the incursion; the young man’s condition was not known at the time of writing this report.
Sources added that the army invaded several citizens’ home in various towns and villages in the Ramallah governorate; there were no reports of arrests.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed eight Palestinian citizens, six of whom were killed near Jenin in the northern West Bank, while two others were killed near Tubas, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
The slain Palestinians were identified as;

3. Shawqi Fayyad Hassan Asous, 40,
4. Mohammad Hassan Musa Asous, 44,
5. Abdullah Khaled Abu Zaid, 22,
6. Majdi Hamza Saba’neh, 22,
7. Omar Mustafa Saba’neh, 23, and
8. Nasr Kamil, 18.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 777 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 167 children, and injured 6,300.
The distribution of those killed in the West Bank is as follows; 207 in Jenin, 179 in Tulkarem, 81 in Nablus, 76 in Hebron, 59 in Ramallah, 61 in Tubas, 48 in Jerusalem, 30 in Qalqilia, 20 in Bethlehem, 12 in Jericho, 12 inside Israel, and 4 in Salfit.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 43,391 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are women and children, and injured 102,347 citizens, while the bodies of thousands of citizens remained buried under the rubble of the devastated coastal enclave.
