At dawn on Thursday, Israeli soldiers shot and injured a young man in the Palestinian town of Anata, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired live rounds at a Palestinian vehicle, wounding the young man.
They added that the soldiers assaulted the wounded young man, placed him on the ground, and then abducted him.
The Israeli army claimed the soldiers fired at a Palestinian car that failed to stop at a roadblock, wounding the young man.
The soldiers also surrounded Anata and the Shu’fat refugee camp before invading them and installing roadblocks.
