Israeli forces executed two Palestinian young men, on Tuesday, and injured nine others during a military attack against the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank.
Media sources said that the occupation forces killed the young men, Firas Al-Jasser and Rami Al-Huwaiti, on Tuesday evening, after invading the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, and besieging a home.
Sources added that soldiers opened heavy fire at the besieged young men and blocked ambulance crews from providing medical treatment, causing them to succumb to their wounds.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), occupation forces used one of its ambulance crews as human shields at the besieged home in the eastern neighborhood of the city.
The PRCS also stated that the soldiers released the ambulance crew after handing them the bodies of the two men who were inside; they were transported to the Jenin Governmental Hospital.
Media sources said that the army injured at least nine Palestinians, including four who sustained shrapnel wounds from a missile, while five others, including a child, were shot with live ammunition.
Earlier in the evening, the army fired a missile at a group of citizens in the eastern neighborhood, causing four citizens to suffer from shrapnel injuries from missile fragments.
The PRCS said despite occupation forces’ impeding their work, ambulance crews managed to transport the wounded citizens to hospital, in addition to a 22-year-old man who was shot in the shoulder with a live round.
In the afternoon, Israeli soldiers shot a young man in the thigh with live ammunition in the Jenin refugee camp, where soldiers assaulted PRCS ambulance crews and seized their cell phones.
In the morning, the occupation forces shot a 33-year-old Palestinian man in the abdomen with live ammunition in addition to shooting a 16-year-old child; they were transported to hospital for treatment.
Additionally, Israeli forces caused fires in three citizens’ homes, vehicles, and a commercial shop during the prolonged incursion, and obstructed the work of civil defense crews.
Armored bulldozers and front-end-loaders caused severe damage to streets and infrastructure, and caused power outages in large areas of the city and its camp.
Before dawn on Tuesday, occupation forces, accompanied by heavy machinery and military reinforcements, invaded the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, amid the deployment of sharpshooters and reconnaissance drones.
In related news, occupation forces assassinated three Palestinian young men after besieging a home, and firing live rounds and anti-tank grenades at it, in the village of Ash-Shuhada, southwest of Jenin.
