On Saturday and Sunday, Israeli forces abducted several Palestinians, including former prisoners and a woman, in various parts of the occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the Commission of Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that occupation forces abducted ten Palestinians in the Tulkarem, Ramallah, and Hebron governorates between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

The statement added that occupation forces have abducted more than 11,900 citizens since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

At dawn Sunday, the army invaded the northern West Bank city of Nablus, in addition to the Balata and Askar refugee camps, east of Nablus.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed and ransacked several citizens’ homes in the popular housing area in the eastern part of Nablus, in addition to the Balata and Askar refugee camps.

The Arab 48 news website reported that armed Palestinian resistance fighters in the Balata refugee camp, exchanged fire with the invading army, before reinforcements arrived.

Soldiers stormed many citizens’ homes in the Balata refugee camp, positioning sharpshooters on their rooftops.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed, on Sunday evening, the village of Hares, northwest of Salfit in the central West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers invaded the village, forces commercial shop owners to close their businesses, while stopping and searching citizens’ vehicles.

Furthermore, the army abducted two Palestinian young men, on Sunday at dawn, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers abducted the two young men, Mahdi Al-Jazzar and Mahmoud Fakhri Anqawi, after storming and searching their homes.

The Arab 48 News website reported that occupation forces abducted the young men, Qassam Al-Masri and Saher Shalas, in the village of Shuqba, northwest of Ramallah.

Also in the Ramallah governorate, Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and assaulted a number of citizens, on Sunday evening.

Amin Abu Alia, the head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, told the WAFA News Agency that the army invaded the village of Al-Mughayyir, assaulted six Palestinians, causing injuries.

Abu Alia added that occupation forces broke into many citizens’ homes, occupied their rooftops, opened fire at citizens with live ammunition, and ordered that shop owners close their businesses.

Moreover, occupation forces abducted, on Sunday evening, a Palestinian young woman at a military roadblock near occupied Jerusalem.

In a statement, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli forces said that soldiers abducted the woman, Nafisa Mahmoud Ibrahim, after stopping her at the “Al-Zaim” military roadblock, built on Palestinian lands east of Jerusalem.

On Sunday afternoon, Israeli forces abducted a young man from Jabal al-Mokabber town in occupied Jerusalem, while intelligence agents invaded the home of a former prisoner.

Media sources said that the army abducted the young man, Qusay Jaabis, while Israeli intelligence agents stormed the house of the former prisoner, Jamal Abu Jamal.
