On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man in Bal’a town, east of Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.
Media sources reported that several military vehicles invaded the town, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired barrages of live rounds.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man in the abdomen with a live round, before local medics rushed him to a hospital in Tulkarem.
Earlier on Wednesday, the army invaded the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem, through its eastern entrance near the Ennab military roadblock, stopping and searching dozens of cars.
The soldiers also fired many live rounds before invading Bal’a town, northeast of Tulkarem, and Qaffin town, north of the city, closing streets and installing roadblocks.
