Earlier Friday, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded the archaeological site of Tal Ma’in in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part and released their livestock into agricultural fields.
Local media activist Osama Makhamra reported that the colonizers invaded the archaeological site in Tal Ma’in in groups.
He added that the colonizers also released their livestock into Palestinian agricultural fields belonging to Ali Ismail Al-Hamamda in the Tal Ma’in area.
Makhamra pointed out that the pastoral colonization is systematically advancing towards the western areas, near the homes of citizens in Masafer Yatta, with the aim of displacing the indigenous Palestinians and forcing them to leave their homes for the benefit of the illegal colonial expansion.
On Friday dawn, a group of paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Douma village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, attacked homes, and burnt three homes and two cars.
In related news, a group of paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded Kifl Hares town, northwest of Salfit in the occupied West Bank’s central part, before storming archaeological sites in the area.
Furthermore, Israeli soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes, abducting at least sixteen Palestinians, including four siblings, in Bethlehem, Hebron, Tubas, and Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
Also, Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camp, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, for the 47th consecutive day, and for the 34th day on the Nur Shams camp, with intensified reinforcements, home invasions, destruction of property, and the forcible displacement of Palestinians.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
