On Monday, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers poisoned several sheep belonging to Palestinian farmer Mohammad Hassan Hreizat in the Shallal al-Awja Bedouin enclave north of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
The attack led to the immediate death of multiple sheep in addition to destruction of the invaded barn.
In the Northern Plains, Israeli paramilitary colonizers and soldiers invaded Khirbet Samra village, and attacked property, causing damage.
The attack is part of escalating violations against the Bedouin communities in the Northern Plains and various parts of the occupied West Bank.
Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, condemned the incident as part of a broader pattern of settler-colonial aggression aimed at displacing Palestinian farmers and herders through sustained harassment, serious violations, and ecological destruction.
Violent incursions by Israeli colonizers have surged across rural Palestine, particularly since October 7, 2023.
These attacks, which mostly go unpunished, serve as instruments of forced displacement designed to fracture Indigenous ties to land and identity.
In many cases, the soldiers are present during these invasions and attacks, and open fire at the Palestinians, in addition to abducting many, instead of removing the assailants, leading to Palestinian casualties, including fatalities.
On Monday morning, the Palestinian General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health this morning of the death of 33-year-old Yousef Emad Ibrahim Al-Amer, who was killed by Israeli soldiers in the town of Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
In related news, The Palestinian Civil Affairs Authority, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society have announced the death of Ahmad Sa’id Saleh Tazaz’a, a 20-year-old administrative detainee from Jenin, who passed away in Megiddo Prison after being held there since May 6, 2025, without charges or trial.
On Saturday evening, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers and occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian young man, Mo’in Sobhi Mohammad Asfar, 23 and wounded eight others, after invading the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 194 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 37 children and 6 women.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
