Two Palestinian youths were injured by rubber-coated bullets during a midnight invasion by Israeli occupation soldiers on the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that Israeli military vehicles invaded Ya’bad from the eastern area, firing rubber-coated steel bullets that struck one youth in the chest and another in the hand. Both were transferred to a hospital in Jenin for treatment.
Troops also stormed several commercial establishments, forcibly shut them down, and conducted patrols through the town’s streets and neighborhoods.
This marks the second invasion of Ya’bad in recent days, following a full closure of its main and secondary entrances.
In related news, the soldiers invaded the town of Tammun, southeast of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, deploying military vehicles and infantry units across multiple areas.
Meanwhile, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers continued plowing Palestinian-owned land in Khirbet al-Farisiya in the northern Jordan Valley for a second consecutive day.
The Jordan Valley has witnessed a sharp escalation in colonizer-led land grabs and assaults on residents and property.
These actions, carried out in front of Israeli soldiers, include fencing off and cultivating Palestinian land to establish de facto control.
