On Thursday, Israeli settlers in cooperation with occupation soldiers detained and abused citizens in the southern West Bank city of Hebron and wounded several Palestinians near Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Illegal Israeli colonizers injured a number of Palestinians after storming the town of Qusra, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Media sources reported that a group of settlers hurled rocks at local Palestinians, causing various injuries to young men who resisted the attack. Soldiers, providing protection for the instigators, opened fire with live rounds; no further injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers and a group of armed paramilitary settlers invaded the village of Wadi al-Shajina, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Media sources said that armed colonizers and occupation soldiers detained two unidentified young men and humiliated them, forcing them to remove their clothing.
Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted two citizens who had been assaulted by a group of colonizers, in the town of Kafr ad-Deek, west of Salfit in the central West Bank.
Media sources reported that occupation soldiers abducted the citizens Firas and Jamal al-Deek shortly after they were assaulted by colonizers in the Khallat al-Haramiya area of the town.
In related news, busloads of Israeli colonizers stormed the evacuated “Tarsala” or “Sanur” colony, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
Media sources reported that Israeli forces closed the Jenin-Nablus road, in order to facilitate a large-scale settler invasion into the former settlement, which was decolonized in 2005.
The sources added that a number of buses carrying settlers, accompanied by mobile homes, stormed the evacuated colony, with the aim of resettling there.
It is important to mention that occupation authorities approved in May, the re-colonization of the illegal “Homesh” and “Tarsala-Sanur” settlements in the Jenin governorate.
In the same context, dozens of Israeli settlers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli police, while performing Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of the Islamic holy site.
