Illegal Israeli colonizers invaded a citizen’s home on Friday evening, and stormed the area near the town of Sa’ir, northeast of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
According to media activist Aref Jaber, a number of Israeli colonizers invaded the home of the citizen Atef Jaber, under army protection, in the “Wadi al-Hussein” area of the Old City.
Media sources reported that another group of colonizers stormed the eastern “Jurat al-Khalil” area of the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron.
The settlers carried out provocative tours in the area, shouting and hurling insults at Palestinian citizens, and performing Talmudic rituals.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that a number of illegal colonizers forcibly stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque through the “Al-Ghawanimah” Gate; settlers are not permitted to storm the strictly Islamic holy site on Fridays or Saturdays.
The Governorate added that 9 Israeli settlers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, assaulting two of its guards, before reaching the Dome of the Rock courtyard while carrying a “bread offering.”
This comes within the context of the escalating and widespread incitement by extremist “Temple” groups under the pretext of the so-called “Festival of Weeks” (Shavuot).
In related news, illegal paramilitary colonizers carried out a series of attacks in the West Bank on Friday, including occupying a citizen’s home and damaging private property in Ramallah, Jerusalem, and the northern Jordan Valley.
