Israeli forces abducted several Palestinians during a series of military invasions across the occupied West Bank on Monday, while illegal Israeli colonizers carried out attacks against Palestinian residents, damaged infrastructure, and expanded efforts to seize Palestinian land.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Upper Dahiya area east of the city, broke into and searched several homes, and ransacked their contents before abducting Khamis Qandil and his son, Hani Qandil.
The soldiers also invaded Kafr Qalil village, southeast of Nablus, where they broke into a number of homes, causing property damage before abducting attorney Baraa Nawaf Al-Amer and Jawad Fathi Mansour. Additional military invasions were reported in the villages of Azmut, east of Nablus, and Beit Iba, west of the city.
Meanwhile, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinians in the Abu Al-Hamra area south of Beita, south of Nablus. Local sources said the colonizers assaulted two Palestinians, causing bruises and other injuries, and attacked an agricultural structure owned by Samer Yousef Abu Mazen.
The colonizers also cut and damaged several electricity poles between Beita and Osarin, causing power outages in a number of homes. Residents noted that similar attacks on the area’s electrical infrastructure have occurred repeatedly in recent years.
At the same time, Israeli forces invaded the Bir Saleh area near Osarin, while local residents confronted colonizers during their assault in Abu Al-Hamra.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded Kafr Qaddum village from its northern entrance and deployed throughout the village before breaking into and searching several homes, including those belonging to Walid Obeid, Awni Ishtaiwi, and Faed Obeid. The army withdrew approximately two hours later without reported injuries or abductions.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Rummanah, west of the city; the eastern neighborhood of Jenin; and Jaba’, south of Jenin, where soldiers broke into and searched several homes.
In Jenin city, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted 18-year-old Amin Mohammad Sa’adi after invading and ransacking his family’s home. The soldiers also assaulted his mother, Halima, causing lacerations, and damaged the home.
During the invasion, the soldiers detained and interrogated Sa’adi’s family members for about two hours before releasing them.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Kafr Al-Labad, east of the city, and Zeita, north of Tulkarem. Soldiers deployed throughout Kafr Al-Labad, forced open the doors of homes and commercial stores, searched the properties, and damaged their contents. The soldiers abducted Shaher Kamal Barhoush, Mohammad Samir Rajab, Mahmoud Wafi Rajab, and Mohammad Hatem Fuqaha.
The invasion continued into the morning hours, prompting local authorities to delay the start of the school day for all schools in Kafr Al-Labad until 9:00 a.m. In Zeita, soldiers broke into and searched several homes.
The invasions came as the Israeli offensive against Tulkarem city and the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps continued for the 589th consecutive day, accompanied by daily military operations throughout the governorate.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinians from Tammun after breaking into and searching their homes. The abducted Palestinians were identified as Sobhi Hassan Ahmad Bani Odeh, Rashid Burhan Bani Odeh, and Ahmad Rashid Bani Odeh.
Also in the northeastern West Bank, illegal Israeli colonizers invaded the northern Yarza community east of Tayasir and began fencing off Palestinian lands in the Al-Hadidiya area of the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources said the fencing prevents Palestinians from accessing agricultural and grazing lands and threatens additional land losses. Over recent years, colonizers have fenced thousands of dunams of Palestinian land throughout the northern Jordan Valley.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city, and broke into homes in the At-Tireh neighborhood of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that soldiers broke into and searched homes in the At-Tireh neighborhood before abducting two former political prisoners, Amro Zalloum and Osama Nakhla, who also serves as coordinator of the Birzeit University Student Movement.
The soldiers also abducted 15-year-old Yousef Mohammad Atiya after breaking into and searching his family’s home in Ni’lin, west of Ramallah. In addition, the army installed a military roadblock between Beitunia and Ein Qiniya, west of the city, obstructing Palestinian movement.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli soldiers assaulted a young Palestinian man near the roundabout in Hizma, northeast of the city. The army also installed a military roadblock in the Al-Khneideq area of Beit Anan, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
In Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Arroub refugee camp and Beit Fajjar with earth mounds and rocks.
The army also installed military roadblocks beneath the Beit Ta’mir bridge east of Bethlehem and at the southern entrance of Nahalin, west of the city, disrupting the movement of Palestinians and their vehicles.
Residents continue to face extensive military restrictions throughout the Bethlehem governorate, including road closures, iron gates, and earth mounds that impede access to workplaces, educational institutions, and medical facilities.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Al-Arroub refugee camp north of the city, broke into homes, caused extensive property damage, and abducted Palestinians.
In Hebron city, Israeli forces abducted four Palestinians after breaking into and searching their homes, ransacking their contents, and severely beating them.
The abducted Palestinians were identified as Abdul-Rahman Al-Atrash, Odai Al-Ajlouni, Hamza Fares An-Natsha, and Amjad Mahmoud Qurei.
The army also searched homes belonging to the Gheith, Salhab, Mahfouz, Al-Qawasmi, Abu Shama, Abu Mayyala, and Da’na families in Hebron, causing extensive damage to the properties.
Also, the soldiers abducted Palestinian farmer Rassem An-Nawaj’a from the Wadi Al-Jawaya area south of Hebron while he was grazing livestock.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, detained dozens of Palestinians for several hours, interrogated them in the field, and severely beat them.
Separately, illegal Israeli colonizers released cattle near Palestinian homes in Khallet Al-Hummus in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in an apparent attempt to intimidate residents and damage their property.
Israeli forces also blocked roads linking Al-Arroub refugee camp and Beit Fajjar, further restricting travel between the Hebron and Bethlehem governorates.
