Palestinian medical sources reported on Thursday that resident Hamid Ahmad Sahloul, 42, from the western refugee camp in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, died of wounds sustained in an Israeli incursion in 2002.Sahloul was hit by fragmentation and shrapnel of a missile fired by the Israeli army, during an invasion into the area; the shelling led to several deaths and injuries.
He received treatment at a number of hospitals in the Gaza Strip and abroad; his health condition witnessed a sharp deterioration in recent days.
The victim is married and supported a family of ten, local sources reported.
