Israeli troops invade West Bank communities, injuries five civilians and kidnap three others. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Five Palestinian civilians were injured when Israeli soldiers invaded on Wednesday the Al-Far’a refugee camp, in the central West Bank district of Tubas, and clashed with local youths who hurled stones at the invading soldiers.
Eyewitnesses have reported that the soldiers broke into dozens of homes in the camp, and interrogated the residents while asking them about several youths allegedly wanted by the army.
Dozens of local youths hurled stones and empty bottles at the invading soldiers; the army fired rubber-coated metal bullets and gas bombs leading to five injuries.
Moreover soldiers invaded the towns of Methaloon and Zababda, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, broke into and searched dozens of homes causing property damage. The soldiers also interrogated several residents while inspecting their ID cards.
Also near Jenin several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded on Wednesday morning Barta’a Ash-Sharqiyya village, and demolished a home and a shed.
Elsewhere Israeli soldiers invaded on Wednesday Doura town, in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and kidnapped three Palestinians.
Eyewitnesses said that a number of Israeli military jeeps invaded the town, broke into and searched several homes causing property damage, interrogated several residents and kidnapped three.
In other news the Prison Administration of the Negev Detention Camp forced four hunger striking detainees into solitary confinement in an attempt to force them to quit their strike. The four detainees, members of the Hamas movement, are held without charges under arbitrary Administrative Detention orders.
The Ahrar Center for Detainees Studies and Human Rights stated that the four detainees started their strike two days ago, demanding Israel to release them, and protesting the cruel treatment, and the extremely difficult conditions they face.
