Israeli soldiers abducted, on Saturday evening, a former Palestinian political prisoner, from Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, after stopping him at a sudden military roadblock.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Emadeddin Jamal Abu al-Haija, while he was heading back home from Ramallah.
In related news, the soldiers closed the road linking between Zababda and Qabatia towns, south of Jenin, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
