British parliament, on Tuesday, held a hearing to discuss the cases of Ahd al-Tamimi and human rights activist Munther Amer, currently being held in Israeli jails.
British MP Richard Bearden said, at the end of the meeting, that he would immediately begin, along with a group of parliamentarians, launching a draft resolution demanding that Israel release Al-Tamimi and all children in jail, as well as obligating them to respect human rights and provide decent living conditions inside Israeli prisons.
According to Al Ray, the meeting was organized by the General Union of Palestinian Students in Britain, in cooperation with the British-Palestinian Center for Communication, with the participation of 12 members of Parliament representatives of various parties, four members of the House of Lords, representatives of a range of UK media and human rights organizations, and a large number of Palestinian and solidarity students.
