Ala’ Sanaqra, a leader of the brigades in the West Bank, said that the fighters are not willing to disarm, or even consider disbarment as long as the occupation remains.
Sanaqra, 28 years old, from Balata refugee camp in Nablus, rejected the calls of the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to disarm the brigades and resistance fighters.
“What positive outcome happened so far to make us accept to disarm, as long as there is occupation we will not disarmâ€Â, Sanaqra said.
Also, Sanaqra added that the Al-Aqsa brigades is committed to the truce since it honors the Palestinian leadership headed by Abbas, but it will not disarm as long as the occupation remains.
