The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, denounced the firing of several employees, mainly teacher working at schools which belong to the Ministry of Education.
A considerable number of the employees are supporters of the movement.
Sami Abu Zuhri, the media spokesperson of Hamas, said that the procedure is ‘damaging’ to the internal talks, and the understandings arrived between the Palestinian factions and the leadership in Cairo.
Abu Zuhri added that this procedure violates an internal agreement which states that employees should not be expelled on basis of there political beliefs.
“We demand the PA to stop these procedures which harm the Palestinian interest and increase the suffering of the Palestinian people, and are direct violates the Cairo understandings and commitments arrived between the Palestinian factionsâ€Â, Abu Zuhri said.   ÂÂ
