Three Palestinians were injured on Wednesday morning when Israeli
security guards opened their machine gunfire at anti-wall protestors
near the village of Rantis northwest of the West Bank cit of Ramallah,
Palestinian source reported.
The source added that two of the wounded suffer serious injuries while the third is medium.
Israeli army sources said protestors threw rocks at the security men
who fired warning shots in the air before they directly aim at the
protestors.
The three wounded Palestinians received initial medical treatment at
the scene and were then evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva,
with Israeli Military ambulances.
In a separate incident, Israeli sources reported that an explosive
device went off Wednesday morning, near the Gaza Strip military fence
while an Israeli military patrol was passing by Kibbuts Mifalsim.
No casualties reported in the incident.
